Heavy Metal Football, our dark, dank, hoppy Black IPA is cranked up to full volume. We went overkill with Simcoe for mammoth dank and pine character. Mosaic, Strata, Amarillo, and Chinook fill out the bill backing up our favorite aspects of Simcoe.
The beer drinks easily for its 7.5% ABV, with enough malt to balance all the hops. In the mash there’s English Pale malt with a few specialty malts mixed in to add a touch of dark chocolate and fullness. Heavy Metal drinks balanced but with a lingering bitterness that will have you keeping it on repeat.
