Right now when you register to vote in Oregon, you can get nearly free beer from Away Days.

You may know by now, there’s a little event coming up in November. This could be the most important election in modern history. It’s time to decide what kind of country the US wants to be.

To encourage the people of Oregon to register to vote, we’re teaming up with our good friends at INDUSTRY for a collab brew beer, giveaways and a donation to a great cause.

Here’s the deal: stop by our SE Portland taproom from Friday, 9/18 to Sunday 10/18, show us you are registered to vote and we will serve you up an “I’ve Registered” gift pack. Just $1 will get you a 20oz pint of People’s Pint ale, an Away Days branded glass, stickers and pin badges.

We would give it away if we could, but giving away free beer is illegal in the state of Oregon. Nearly free is nearly as good, right?

* Update * People’e Pint cans will be available this weekend for anyone who has VOTED! Starting Friday 23rd October, stop by our SE Portland taproom to pick up a $5 four-pack of this delicious Golden Ale. Every dollar raised on the sale of People’s Pint cans will be donated directly to Rock the Vote and ACLU to support their efforts mobilising young voters and fighting voter suppression.

Cheers!

Vote!

The People’s Pint

Style: Golden Mild

ABV: 3.8% / IBU: 10 / SRM: 3

The People’s Pint is a subtle and delicate Golden Ale. Restrained hopping with Harlequin and Godiva adds notes of honeydew, lemon zest, bitter grapefruit, hay, and grass. People’s Pint uses a blend of classic English base malts, along with oats and wheat for a light but character-filled malt profile. Bready, doughy, and nutty flavors accentuate these new English hop varieties for a harmonious, quaffable pint. An ale for those who appreciate nuance and a bit of history in their pint glass.
